History
After developing and building some V8 projects to help some friends, the mechanical engineer Amadeu Ferreira Junior decided to build a V8 motorcycle by himself with a revolutionary concept of four wheels called Cosmos 4RWF.

He notes the potential success of his creation and that the international national market does not currently offer this kind of product to specific people who would like a high powered four wheel cycle machine, so he decided to build exclusive creations that are requested by others.

The Motorcycles
These products consist of of high powered motorcycles, using V8 engine 5700cc 350hp. The company has adopted a policy of limited production to offer a more exclusive product to clients. The company possesses technology developed to follow international standards of quality and security. They are comfortable and their dimensions are custom built for individuals physical characteristics. Each motorcycle will come with a number to uniquely identify with the owner of record of the motorcycle.

Special Projects
The special projects are developed to suit customer requirements for larger sized motorcycles such as V8 trikes. The motorcycle is planned especially for the demanding enthusiast discerning customer. The motorcycles are high powered, conceived with high standards of trustworthiness and quality. The Cosmos Muscle Bike balances between a classic style and futuristic style. Manufactured with three main qualities: Beauty, Robustness and Technology.

Important Notes

The bikes are made to order using a Corvette engine 5700cc 350hp. All bikes will have a number and the owner will have their name correspond to the number on the bike.

Custom built bikes will take approximately six months to completion.

Customers will have the right to visit the Cosmos Muscle Bikes one time every fifteen days.

The waiting period will be listed in the purchase agreement with the date of the customer’s deposit. The first customer to make a deposit will take priority. First come, first served.

All orders should be accompanied by the measures of the customer, including the height, weight, length of arms and the legs and shoe size.

A limited number of ninety-nine 2RWF V8 and forty-nine 4RWF V8 will be made. There will be no number 13 number.

The bike 4RWF, uses the COSMOS system to make curves, developed by Engineer Amadeu Ferreira Júnior.
The body and the arms are a part and the back wheels another part. – Body (arms front, front wheels, engine, fuel tank and seat)
back Wheels (two wheels and drive and shock absorber)
The system functions with two independent front wheels one of the other and if they move together for the sides, up and down.
In curves, the two arms together with the body slide laterally, while the two back wheels remain vertically.
The wheels turn until 33º for each side, being able to make curves of short radius.
In the curves in low speed only the wheels turn laterally and in high speed the wheels lie down as a normal motion.

Boss Hoss Motorcycles are one of our favorite V8 bikes.  This page has a photo gallery of Boss Hoss V8 engine bikes.  Boss Hoss cycles are excellently manufactured and have a traditional cruiser motorcycle look and feel.  Boss Hoss also has V8 Trikes and a number of novel custom styles such as the Corvette style.

The Boss Hoss bikes were originally sold in kit form.  But now you can get them both directly from Boss Hoss Inc, or from numerous dealers throughout the United States and in other countries. The dealer can have it painted a custom color and install custom components. Many Boss Hoss riders opt for the stock 1970 Chevrolet 350 engine, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and wide 8-gallon gas tank.  Note, there is also a 2-gallon reserve tank under the seat. The Boss Hoss V8 generally gets 24 to 30 miles per gallon.  And there is a specially designed two-speed automatic transmission with Reverse gear. The wide handlebars give lots of leverage for turns, and there is more ground clearance than you might first guess. But this is not a machine for carving corners like a superbike.

These bikes generally start at approximately $30,000.  Not a small price for the faint of heart, but well worth it for the fantastic craftmanship and super charged V8 Engine.  You’ll definitely enjoy the throbbing V8 engine.  And although the V8 can accelerate with the best of them, you should know that the Boss Hoss V8 Motorcycle was made for cruising. The V8 engine bike is so smooth it makes a four-cylinder motorcycle seem like cement mixer. The seat is comfortable, and you can know you’ve got the best wheels in town.

Boss Hoss Cycles, Inc. was started in 1990 when Monte Warne, the founder and president of Boss Hoss Cycles, Inc., created his Chevy V-8 powered motorcycle in in Dyersburg, TN. Monte, a commercial aircraft pilot and Aviation Airframe and Power plant technician, was the first to design a V-8 powered motorcycle that has a traditional cruiser motorcycle look and feel. He did this with a unique approach single speed (one gear) transmission design. The right angle drive transmission allows the length of the bike to be kept to a minimum and the engine-mounting inline with the frame made for a well-balanced design that is unequaled by any other V-8 powered motorcycles.

Boss Hoss Cycles, Inc. has grown to include three wheeled V8 trikes. Boss Hoss Cycles have features such 2-speed transmission with reverse, inverted front suspension, vacuum formed body panels, investment cast structural frame components, and many other specially designed components. The Drysdale V8 is an Australian designed and made ‘superbike’ class motorcycle. It was designed to be a road legal motorcycle that performs and handles like a full factory team race bike but with the smoothness that only a V8 can deliver.

The Drysdale V8 has been designed and predominately built by Ian Drysdale – a Melbourne, Australia based motorcycle enthusiast who runs a general engineering business – building specialist one-off machines for the television, car manufacturing and canning industries . He last came to notice in 1990 with an experimental 2 wheel drive – hydraulic drive motorcycle called ‘DRYVTECH’.

Ian Drysdale’s motorcycle designs draw inspiration from the Moto Guzzi V8 500 Grand Prix racer of the 1950′s, as well as the frame and fairing also being influenced by the Bimota and Ducatis of the early 1980′s as well as modern Moto Guzzis. Ian Drysdale also draws influence from the the efficiency and reliability of modern Japanese motorcycles. He aims to combine these elements to build something beautiful, unique and extremely fast.
