The engineering design has dictated a longer bike since the original models. Monte Warne, the founder of Boss Hoss Cycles, created his first Chevy V-8 powered motorcycle in his 5000 square foot shop in Dyersburg, TN. His plan was to design a V-8 powered motorcycle that has a traditional cruiser motorcycle style, look and feel. Boss Hoss owners often regard the Nesco transmission as the weakest link in the bike’s design. Since then, more measures have been in place to increase the strength of the transmission by installing hardened planetaries and changing seals.

Over the past seventeen years Boss Hoss has grown from humble beginnings to a 22,000 square foot manufacturing facility.
